Summer has officially arrived and school is out! This means the main focus of parent and child alike over the next few months will be trying to find a way to deal with the heat.
A dive-In movie, surf lessons and floating down a lazy river, doesn’t sound like life in the desert, does it? But, yet, right in Arcadia’s backyard, there are several resorts that offer these fun ways to enjoy summer in the cool waters and more.
There are world-class resorts in the area like, The Phoenician, the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess, The Arizona Biltmore, The Pointe Hilton at Squaw Peak, The Westin Kierland and The Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale at Troon North all offer a great way to enjoy a staycation and stay cool.
If you don’t have a day, night or weekend to spend you can also enjoy one of the many splash pads around the neighborhood.
- Phoenix Zoo Leapin’ Lagoon and Yukulla Caverns
