Modern Phoenix Week 2018
March 16 – 25, 2018 in Phoenix, Arizona
Modern Phoenix Week highlights Midcentury Modern homes, styles of the 1950s and ‘60s architecture and provides activities centered around their preservation, restoration and uses.
Now in its 14th year, the week’s events create awareness about central Arizona’s Midcentury Modern architecture through tours of residential and commercial buildings; workshops and talks on issues related to midcentury modernism in Arizona; and mixers with experts in the fields of preservation, restoration and modern design.
The event is hosted by Alison King and Modern Phoenix. This year the event includes:
- 18 events at venues citywide
- Modern Phoenix Home Tour of Marion Estates and the surrounding foothills
The week includes bike tours, walking tours and many other small tours held all week long before the big event grand finale Home Tour of Marion Estates and the surrounding foothills on March 25th.
Join industry experts present on a variety of topics including the keynote lecture presented by Alexandra Lange of Curbed.com on March 19th.
Lots of opportunities to mix with national experts on Modernism and meet enthusiasts involved in the preservation and restoration of Midcentury Modern design in the Phoenix Metro area.
